Product Details

Our throw pillows are made from 100% spun polyester poplin fabric and add a stylish statement to any room. Pillows are available in sizes from 14" x 14" up to 26" x 26". Each pillow is printed on both sides (same image) and includes a concealed zipper and removable insert (if selected) for easy cleaning.

Artist's Description

This piece is based on a 2 X 3 layout of a 9 patch basic 'Star" quilt block block. Secondary patterns are also developed at the intersections of the blocks.This artwork was created entirely by drawing straight lines to create parabolic curves. Each block in the design began its life as a humble square.

Bev Donohoe

Over a period of more years than I care to admit to, I have pursued a number of creative activities ranging from dressmaking, knitting, hand embroidery (particularly cross stitch and blackwork), quilting, zentangle and art journaling along with a few other creative activities to a lesser degree. As a child, I was fascinated with the spirograph and remember spending hours at a stretch creating patterns, patterns and more patterns. I have always wanted to draw and I now feel that I have come full circle with these artworks being a combination of my love of spirograph type patterns and the precision required for, and the geometry of, cross stitch, blackwork and patchwork and quilting.
